Sizing Information
We measure each item from side seam to side seam, lying flat. We then double the measurement to account for both sides of the garment. For example, the bust of a particular garment, measured from side seam to side seam across the bust is 15 inches. We then double the measurement to account for the front and back of the garment to equal a final bust measurement of 30 inches. Please consider the fabric content of each item, as fabric containing stretch may give several more inches. To get an accurate measurement, always keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor. Wear undergarments; do not measure over your clothes.
When comparing these measurements to your body, we recommend following the guidelines below:
Length: Measure from the point your neck and shoulder meet to the desired length.
Bust: Measure around your body at the fullest part of your bust and make sure the measuring tape fits comfortably.
Waist: Measure around your body at the narrowest part of your waist and make sure measuring tape fits comfortably.
Hips: Place the measuring tape below your waist and around the fullest part of your hips. Make sure the tape fits comfortably around your body.
Sleeve length: Measure from the slope of your shoulder to just before your wrist. Always bend your elbow when measuring. We typically measure from the shoulder seam, but certain styles are measured from where they would naturally fall on your shoulder.
Sleeve width: Measure around your upper arm at the fullest part. Make sure the tape fits comfortably around your arm.
Torso: Measure from the high point of your shoulder (between your neck base and shoulder joint) over the fullest part of your bust to the middle of your crotch (where the seam of your romper would hit). Make sure you are standing up straight when taking this measurement.
Inseam: Measure from the inside of your leg (where the seam of your romper would hit) down to the top of your foot.
Jean sizing note: The tag size and measured waist size may be different, so please take only the measured size into consideration when choosing your size. The tag size is based on your real waist measurement and the waistband of jeans sits closer to your hips than your actual waistline. This is the reason the waistband measurement can be different than the tag size. Low-rise jeans sometimes have a larger waist measurement because they are meant to sit below the natural waistline.
